🌟 Great First Day of Coding & Robotics at Fort Washington Elementary! 🤖✨

We had an amazing first session kicking off our LEGO Spike Prime coding and robotics classes today!

Students were introduced to the basics of the LEGO Spike Prime kits and learned how coding in the Spike app connects directly to their robot creations. Seeing code come to life is always a favorite moment! 💻➡️🤖

For our first project, students built a LEGO Rhino equipped with a button sensor. When the button is pressed, the rhino activates and moves — a fun and engaging way to learn about sensors, cause-and-effect, and basic programming concepts.

Students worked in small groups, and each team did a fantastic job building and coding their robots correctly. Many even went above and beyond by adding creative elements to both their builds and their code!

We’re so excited about this strong start and can’t wait to see how their skills continue to grow in the weeks ahead! 🚀

🌟 Amazing first day of Coding & Robotics at Guidepost Montessori North Wales! 🤖✨

Our preschoolers got hands-on with LEGO Spike Essential and built their first robot — the Light Bot! 💡 They coded the light to change colors and even added fun extras like sounds and spinning parts. We can’t wait for next week! 🚀

🌟 What an amazing first day of Coding & Robotics at Guidepost Montessori Fall session in North Wales, PA! 🤖✨

Our preschool students were introduced to their LEGO Spike Essential kits — special LEGO pieces that connect to the Spike Essential app and can be programmed to move, light up, make sounds, and much more!

Today we built our very first robot: the Light Bot 💡
Each child coded their bot’s “head light” to change colors — and then added extra fun features like sounds, spinning parts, and motion!

Every group successfully completed their build AND had time to explore more coding elements on their own. Their excitement and curiosity were incredible to see!

We can’t wait to continue this journey and bring more STEM adventures to our little engineers next week! 🚀✨

🌟 Coding & Robotics at The Montessori School at Dresher! 🤖💡

Today was a very exciting day in our LEGO Spike Prime coding and robotics class with Wize Computing Academy!

Our Upper Elementary students completed their mid-semester challenge — and this one required real engineering thinking! Each student selected a card with a “dilemma” written on it, and then they had to design, build, and code their own robot to solve the dilemma they picked. 🙌

Every team came up with clever and unique solutions — and unique code to match! When students ran into bugs or issues, we worked together to problem-solve, test, and refine their programs — just like real engineers do!

We are SO proud of their creativity, teamwork, and perseverance. Their skills are growing every week… and we can’t wait to see what they build next! 🚀
