The 2025 Recognition Day theme ‘Together We Grow’ celebrates the role of school counsellors and psychologists in creating the conditions for growth, within students, school communities, and the profession itself. It highlights the power of strong therapeutic relationships, the value of collaboration with colleagues and supervisors, and the personal and professional qualities that foster resilience, connection and development.

Today we recognise all our members for the amazing work you do to foster growth and resilience within students, families and whole-school communities. Thank you for all that you do✨

If you would like to share your recognition day highlights, please share below, tag us, or email us at info@spawa.org

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet students and registered psychologists who are looking at a future career in school psychology at a recent careers evening!

We were able to share all about SPAWA and discuss our different memberships, including options for students and psychologists who are not yet working in schools. More information can be found at https://www.spawa.org/join/

We look forward to connecting again in the future!

What an incredible 2025 SPAWA conference!

The energy and enthusiasm for school psychology was felt in every moment, and the conference theme of “Courage to lead, clarity to act: Conversations that matter in school psychology” was truly emphasised over the two days.

We loved connecting with everyone, and hope all our attendees felt inspired and informed!
