Sometimes Physios tend to be quite courageous and they want to tell their patients where the pain comes from and they poke or point out at a specific place which could be tender for another reason.

Pain is quite complex and sometimes do not correlate with any damage.

We got a very diverse range of soft tissue structures and for that reason your Physio should spend a good time making a thorough assessment and educate and inform you through this process without using complex or very techy words to sound smart.

Ever taken a nasty fall on your shoulder?

Whether it's from playing football, riding your bike, doing martial arts or even roughhousing with the kids, a nasty fall can overstretch the acromioclavicular (AC) joint, leading to an AC joint sprain.

Don't worry! Rest your shoulder for a few days, wear a sling if needed, and most importantly, START and STICK to your rehab exercises.

Remember, consistent rehab is key to a speedy recovery and getting you back in the game! 💪
