Natal Cares is gearing up for an important outreach in Calabar, where we will provide Delivery Kits to expectant mothers in underserved communities. Each kit is designed to ensure safe, hygienic childbirth, containing sterile supplies that reduce the risk of infections and complications during delivery. Beyond the physical tools, the kits are part of a holistic approach that includes health education, guidance on pregnancy care, and support from trained traditional birth attendants, ensuring mothers know how to use them effectively.

This outreach in Calabar is part of Natal Cares’ broader mission to scale maternal healthcare access across Nigeria, reaching women in rural and peri-urban areas who are most vulnerable. By combining technology, community engagement, and essential healthcare resources, Natal Cares not only protects lives today but also builds healthier, stronger communities for the future.

Exciting Moment at the Policy Innovation Center Gender & Inclusion Summit 2025

It was such a privilege meeting Mr. Kayode Okikiolu of Channels TV at the summit. We had a brief but impactful chat, and I was inspired by his passion for telling stories that drive social change.

I’m truly looking forward to welcoming him soon at Natal Cares, as we prepare for a short documentary that will spotlight our work in reducing maternal and infant mortality in underserved communities.

Grateful for meaningful connections that amplify our mission and give a stronger voice to the women and children we serve.

Grateful to have been part of the Gender & Inclusion Summit 2025 ( ) hosted by the Policy Innovation Centre

Over two inspiring days, leaders, policymakers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and changemakers came together under the theme “New Voices & New Approaches for Accelerating an Inclusive Society.”

I had the privilege of not only learning from thought leaders but also sharing the impactful work we are doing at to drive maternal & child health / clean energy / inclusive innovation in underserved communities.

Key highlights for me:
1. Conversations on dismantling systemic barriers for women and youth
2. Practical strategies to close the digital and financial inclusion gap
3. Engaging with allies who believe equity is not just policy but practice

I left even more committed to building solutions that ensure no one is left behind.
A big thank you to the Policy Innovation Centre and partners for creating this powerful platform. The journey to a more inclusive and equitable future is a collective one and I’m proud to be part of it.
