Lumina Health Services Welcome! I teach women to understand and interpret their menstrual cycles by learning the science of their reproductive system. I would love to chat!

And now I’m about to graduate chiropractic school at the top of my class 🥹

I hope my story is encouraging to those of you who are confused at the promptings you’re experiencing.

I want to give you a little more background.

When I was a senior in college, I KNEW I would go back to school for a graduate degree. I also knew that I wanted to work in women’s health. But with my bachelors being in athletic training, I wasn’t sure how that was going to work out.

I had initially planned to become a physical therapist, but working in PT turned me off of that profession. Women’s health PT didn’t feel right at all.

Over the years, I explored every avenue of complementary healthcare I could think of: nutrition, naturopathic medicine physical therapy, occupational therapy, acupuncture, health coaching, homeopathy, and more.

I never thought about chiropractic until 2020. Which is surprising considering I went to chiropractors myself and worked with chiropractors. It wasn’t until we were in KY that the idea dropped into my head one day.

There were so many details I left out of this story for the sake of time. Still so many not in this caption!

But it’s amazing to look back and see how all the waiting, refining, and skills I was growing were meant to serve me in this position.

Coming January 2026 I’ll officially be Dr. Mairead Suthoff 🎉

The last 3.5 years especially have been HARD - like hard work hard - but many tears have been shed as well.

It feels like the real work is just beginning though.

I cannot wait to serve my community with root cause, holistic healthcare. Chiropractic in person & functional health online & in person.

So much to come, but for now, share a story in the comments of the signs God has smacked you upside the head with!! Let’s encourage each other to keep going even when we can’t see where the road is taking us.

You guys know I have been on a mission to find a yummy, CLEAN protein powder that isn’t sweetened with stevia.

Well I finally found it! I have been LOVING this chocolate protein powder from

It is delicious. It blends so easily and isn’t gritty. It doesn’t have a weird protein flavor. And it’s so easy to add to recipes to boost the protein content and nutrient profile.

1) Classic chocolate shake

2) Spiced hot chocolate - I add some more cacao powder, a lil cinnamon, a lil ginger, and a drizzle of maple syrup for an extra treat.

3) Greek yogurt bowl - sometimes I add fruit and/or granola

4) Cherry & chocolate energy bites
1.5 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup dried cherries
1/4 cup choc chips
2 scoops Chocolate Whey Protein Powder

Mix and roll into balls. Store in the fridge for a longer shelf life.

I’ve also used this protein powder in my coffee, in pancakes, in waffles, and would like to add it to banana bread/muffins 🍌💪

We have to understand by now that birth control DOES NOT heal the reason you’re having:

❌pain
❌acne
❌irregular cycles
❌PCOS
❌endometriosis
❌hormonal imbalances like high estrogen, high testosterone, or low progesterone

In case you missed it, ACOG recently shared a brief about their stance on Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM)

The agenda of this brief is very clear - demonize anyone that doesn’t support artificial reproductive technology (ART) as the first & best course of treatment after a diagnosis of infertility.

It’s an absolute smack down on RRM as a legitimate treatment option, which is such a shame as RRM is so much more than infertility treatment- it’s giving women & couples their lives back!

The list of health concerns that RRM treats goes far beyond infertility! Period pain, PCOS, endometriosis, luteal phase defects, endometritis, adenomyosis, fibroids, insuline resistance, thyroid disease, male factor - I could continue, but I think you get the idea.

The idea that birth control (an endocrine disrupter) “fixes” any part of your endocrine system is laughable.

Hormonal birth control is designed to override your body’s communication signals between your brain & your ovaries (and other organs).

👆this does not fix the reason your periods are missing, or you’re in pain, or why you’re not ovulating regularly, or not conceiving.

Birth control is putting your body on lockdown.
