Autumn Days 🍁🍂
Not going to lie. The season change has been kicking my butt. Have you heard of the October Slide? 👀
It’s that time of year when symptoms love to act up right as the leaves start falling. 🍂
I wrote a new blog for sharing my “Favorite Fall Comforts for Chronic Illness”. I shared some rituals, smells, and cozy things that make this season softer when your body’s not cooperating. 💛

It’s a quiet declaration that women with chronic illness deserve to be seen, honored, and celebrated.

Thank you to the visionary behind this magic and 🧡🦋 for featuring me in the ChiLLness Chronicles. I appreciate you amplifying my story in such a radiant way. After years on this beautiful loc journey, I’ve learned that healthy locs aren’t just about products; it’s about patience, care, and confidence. 💫
Here are some of my tried-and-true gems:
💧 Moisturize regularly (distilled water + oils are your friend)
🧖🏽‍♀️ Deep condition + cleanse your scalp = healthy growth
😌 Don’t over-manipulate — let your roots breathe
🌀 Embrace frizz (yes, it’s part of the process!)
🧘🏽‍♀️ Be patient & release the need for perfection
🧣 Protect them at night; satin & silk bonnets (or pillowcases) save lives
🌟 Get comfortable doing your own hair;your hands are sacred
💗 And most importantly: enjoy the process
