This is what shadow work looks like for me. Taking what lives in the dark and giving it form.
Letting it exist outside of my body instead of carrying it alone.
There is healing in being witnessed.

The Actress

I make space on my mattress
A place for executive dysfunction
My overactive vagus nerve
And the ball of static in my stomach

The notebook chained next to me
Is scribbled with pleas and possibility
And the self awareness to be
The most embarrassed thing in my room

I flirt with gasoline on matchstick bridges
And wear moldavite on my sleeve
Just for the thrill of total annihilation
And maybe finally being noticed

Thank god no one can really see me
They might leave the show if they saw
The monster clawing through my fabrication
As I cling to my own shackles for comfort

But please, just look at me
Can't you witness my undoing
Or Am I not palatable enough
When my fangs are showing

I can't recognize the moment
Of collapsing into my truth
I'm too busy reapplying the mask
And rehearsing my lines

I hear clapping
From the stage I'm strung upon
My feet barely touch the ground
But I think I'm happy to be here

Tonight’s Full Moon in Libra feels… a lot.
Heavy. Intense. Exposing.

But there is a quiet, undeniable beauty within it.

Libra is the sign of balance, harmony, and connection, but this moon isn’t asking you to perfect anything outside of yourself. It’s asking you to come back home.

To look at the places where you may have abandoned yourself in the pursuit of peace, love, approval, or belonging.
And to do so gently, because you are not alone in that. Not even a little bit.

This is something we all experience.
And this moon may be illuminating those patterns in a way that feels uncomfortable… maybe even overwhelming at times.

If that’s where you are right now, take a breath. You’re not doing it wrong.

There is nothing shameful about needing.
Nothing shameful about wanting.
Nothing shameful about desiring connection.

The work here is not to suppress those parts of yourself, but to hold them. To contain them. To accept yourself fully, exactly as you are.

Because real balance doesn’t come from managing everything around you.
It comes from being anchored within yourself.

And I know… people will say, “what’s meant for you won’t pass you,” or “anything you lose is alignment.”
And yes, there is so much truth in that.

But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt.
It doesn’t mean you won’t grieve.
It doesn’t mean you won’t feel the full weight of what you’re moving through.

You are allowed to feel all of it.

And still, choose yourself.

Because when you begin to truly accept yourself…
When you allow your authenticity to exist without needing permission, validation, or approval…

Something shifts.

Not because it’s a shortcut, because it’s not. This is some of the hardest work there is.
But because it’s real.

And from that place things start to soften.
Paths begin to reveal themselves.
What is aligned begins to meet you where you are.

If you’re navigating this energy right now, I just want to say, I see you. I’m proud of you. And you are supported through this.

You don’t have to be perfectly balanced.
You just have to be honest with yourself.

That’s where the magic is.

I had a powerful realization while connecting with a weeping willow tree I call Willa, a tree I feel deeply bonded to and visit often. I’ve watched her move through the seasons. Bare and raw, and then slowly returning to fullness in the spring. Today, as I touched one of her branches and opened myself to receive a message, what came through was: “It’s always been you.”

The meaning felt profound. It was an awareness that what I experience as messages, downloads, or intuitive connection with the tree is not something coming from outside of me, but something arising through me. That the tree, the experience, and the insight are all part of the same field of consciousness expressing itself.

It expanded into a broader understanding that everything I perceive, nature, people, moments, emotions, even pain, is not separate from me in an absolute sense. Instead, everything is interconnected, and what I experience externally is also being filtered through, and in some way reflected by, my own inner world.

In that view, nothing is truly outside of us. The answers we seek, the meaning we assign, and the experiences we have are all part of a shared field of awareness. Everything is within everything, and separation is more perceptual than actual.
