.is what supplements do I take?!!!

Y’all blew my last post UP and were wondering what supplements are a part of my daily routine. Here ya go!!!

BRAND:

EVERYTHING I use is 1st Phorm. I’m so incredibly picky with vitamins so I refuse to take anything but the best. I’ve tried hundreds of brands and 1st Phorm was the CLEAR winner. Quality is everything!

SUPPS:

PROBIOTIC - An absolute must for gut health & bloating. A lot of probiotics on the market don’t work or cause MORE bloating. Make sure you pick the right one!!

ADRENAL RESTORE: The only thing I’ve found that truly helps balance my hormones. I struggled with low energy and brain fog for so long - until I found this!!! A must.

VITAMIN D: crucial for healthy brain, bones & organ function. I live in the sunniest state in the US but I still take this. You need more vitamin d than you’d think!

COLLAGEN: A game changer for recovery, hair/nail growth, glowing skin & overall a great way to hit your protein intake. I put the caramel one in my coffee every morning!!

MAGNESIUM: THIS. THIS IS THE ONE. When I say this supplement has changed my life I’m not exaggerating. My sleep, energy levels, muscle recovery, mood, anxiety and digestion has literally never been better. I was struggling for so long - my only regret is that I found this sooner!!

4 FLIPPIN WEEKS 👏

How did I do it?!!!

Simple.

In the first photo
I had “fallen off” for a few weeks

- I was not prioritizing movement like I should’ve been

- Lacking vitamin D because I wasn’t spending time outside

- Was barely eating any veggies. Lots of refined carbs and packaged foods

- Wasn’t consistent with my daily supplements. Which led me to get sick for 2 weeks straight. Big bummer!

NOW
. I took my power back and got back on the grind.

- I get outside EVERY day and soak up as much vitamin D as possible

- I do 15-30 minutes of low intensity cardio every single day

- I start my day with a veggie/fruit juice that contains at least 5 variations

- I eat at least 2 different types of veggies with every meal. I no longer eat bagels, pasta, or highly processed carbs. Veggies, white rice, and fruit ONLY.

- I consistently take my vitamins every single morning

- I went through my pantry and threw out ALL (yes all) processed snacks. The only sweet treats I eat are homemade ice cream or dark chocolate. If I’m craving chips, I eat nuts or sliced veggies.

- I don’t drink alcohol. Ever. (Personal preference)

How did I do it?!!!

Simple.

In the first photo
I had “fallen off” for a few weeks

- I was not prioritizing movement like I should’ve been

I refuse to take NyQuil - here’s why đŸ‘‡đŸŒđŸ‘‡đŸŒ

NyQuil doesn’t heal you from the inside - all it does is temporarily mask your symptoms.

Rather than trying to hide our symptoms - we should instead focus on healing WHAT is causing them!!

It’s like taking advil for a dehydration headache. Advil might make the headache go away - but it doesn’t solve the dehydration issue. Western medicine is not a solution - it’s a bandaid.

God gave us all the medicine we need here on earth. A bottle of chemicals isn’t the answer. 🌿

I use the SAME exact remedies every time I get sick. No matter what virus I might have - it works everytime.

Day 1-2:

- REST. Sleep a ton.
- Take magnesium for quality sleep.
- Take Boiron Cold & Flu Tablets 3x a day
- Take Kick Ass Immune syrup 3-4x a day
- Take double Vitamin C & Zinc 2x a day
- Little to no movement. Just rest.
- Eat clean foods that support recovery. I love a good bowl of Chicken Pho Soup.
- Drink PLENTY of water & add electrolytes for extra hydration

Day 3+:
- Light movement & sunlight
- Sauna & Cold Plunge if possible
- Take Boiron Cold & Flu Tablets 1x a day
- Take Kick Ass Immune syrup 3x a day
- Take double Vitamin C & Zink 2x a day
- Slowly add in low intensity workouts
- Continue to drink plenty of water & eat foods that have healing properties.

Don’t run away from difficulty - run towards it.

The more you truly challenge yourself the MORE RESULTS YOU GET 👏

This body wasn’t built by skipping workouts, under-eating, and bad habits.

It was built by discipline & consistency.

Showing up to the gym on the days that I didn’t want to.

Choosing home cooked meals over convenient fast food.

Creating a routine that consisted of habits that made me better.

Saying no to the things that didn’t serve me.

A good rule of thumb is ONE gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Example: if you weigh 150lbs, go for 150 grams of protein daily.

The best way to do that is to eat protein with every meal!!!

HAPPY MONDAY BESTIES. Let’s get it.

- set yourself up for success
- plan out your workouts & meals so you don’t miss a beat
- make time for mindfulness (reading, meditation, etc)
- make your to do list
- set one weekly goal that you’ll accomplish. no goal is too small.

Contrary to popular belief
training upper body won’t make you look manly or bulky.

Although some of you might think I look “bulky” in this photo
.this is a result of training SPECIFICALLY for growth.

Combined with good lighting, a crazy pump, and flexing harrrrd for the photo.

There’s a thousand reasons why you shouldn’t neglect upper body.

First & most beneficial is the fact that it will enhance your shoulder-waist ratio
giving you that hourglass look and making your waist look tiny. We love that.

Two, having a good balance when it comes to muscle development is extremely important to prevent injury. Remember that all your muscles are connected. So when your legs are strong af but your arms have never lifted a pound
.you’re going to face a lot of muscle imbalances, tightness, pain, and even injury. That’s a no from me babe!!

Three, strength. Not all lower body lifts are strictly pulled by your legs. Having upper body strength will allow you to push even harder on leg day.

Lastly, being able to do things on your own is freaking cool. Not having to ask for help opening a jar, lifting things into your car, or rearranging your bedroom furniture is so empowering. It feels good to not always have to reply on boys to help you get sh*t done!!

Stop trying to shrink. Take up space. Be strong and powerful. It’s sexy.

THIS COULD BE YOU BUT YOU PLAYINNNNđŸ«ą

IT’S NOT COMPLICATED. I PROMISE.

If I could give you 3 pieces of advice if you want to GROW & create an hourglass shape going into 2024
.

1. Stop looking for “quick fixes.” They don’t exist. If you want to change the way you look, you’re going to have to put on the work. AND you’re going to have to stay consistent long enough to see results. There’s no cheat code for this. If you show up every single day for at LEAST 4-6 weeks
.you will see results.

2. EAT. You have to. Your body will not change if you don’t change your eating habits. Prioritizing protein intake is non negotiable. Eat protein with every single meal and watch your body change!!!! Don’t be afraid of carbs. They’re fuel. Opt for fast digesting carbs like white rice or sweet potato. Avoid processed junk like bread and pastries.

3. Push yourself in the gym. I know, that YOU know if you’re going hard enough in the gym. If you have to question it, the intensity of your workouts probably isn’t where it should be. ALWAYS DO ONE MORE. One more rep, one more set, or one more exercise. When you think you’re done, keep going.
