PPTA held a province wide elections in Punjab. 498 Physical Therapists from all over Punjab actively Participated in the Elctions and the following Mmbers were given the Honor to become the first ever elected Offic Bearers of PPTA Punjab Cabinet. President: Mr Muhammad Amir Saeed

Writ Against discriminative rule of Punjab Govt and Department of Health for the Recruitment of New Physiotherapist in BPS 17:
The respondents are:
1. Govt of Punjab through Secretary Health
2. Public Health Department
3. P.M & D.C Secretariat Lahore
4. PPSC
5. King Edward Medical University)
Some Facts:
The Petition was filed in 02 March, 2011. A strong decision by the Judge, Mr. Asad Munir Malik, was issued and the stay was granted ONLY ON THOSE SEATS. Next date was Fixed by Court on 14th match and the respondents were directed to submit their explanation on 14 march. But on 14th the court was adjourned before the hearing and it was not Fixed this time.
Then we again tried and got a new date in June but on that day, we could not get our turn as a case before ours was prolonged.
Now after the holidays in the Highcourt are over, we have filed an urgent case application to the honorable Justice Mr. Ameer Ali Bhatti. The hearing Will InshALLAH be on Monday 24 Oct, 2011.
We are very positive that we’ll get a very good decision in favor of the Profession and this rule will be Abolished INSHALLAH.
