✨Kids had lots of fun at “Tiny Tasters” cooking social group today. A small group with 2 facilitators (Behaviour Therapist and Speech Therapist). Kids were provided a chef apron to look the part, they made pizza together, and were awarded a personalised certificate at the end. In this group we are:
-Encouraging interaction with food in a no-pressure environment
-Using responsive feeding values (autonomy, relationship, competence, intrinsic motivation, and holism).
-Deconstructing pizza so each ingredient can be explored separately
-Allowing the child to choose what to, how much to, and whether to eat
