In numerology 2021 is a universal number 5 year which means a year of change, opportunities and breaking free. After the restrictions of 2020 this year holds a changeable, adventurous and free-spirited energy. Unexpected things could be asked of you this year, regarding your job, to travel, so try and remain flexible and seek out opportunities. A 5 year can be an exciting energy of adventure, even restlessness so you need to stay grounded and not take on too many things at once. Maintain balance.

Personal Year 1 – New Beginnings and action. The number 1 is a powerful manifestation number therefore this will be a great year to reach out for opportunities that will come your way. Combined with energy of the universal year number 5 this could be an action packed year!
Personal Year 2 – Cooperation and balance. This is a great year for Self- love and working on your emotional balance - create a harmonious environment with meditation, yoga, music. The best use of your 2 personal year is in slowing down and focusing on relationships. There may be relationship issues with family, friends may need to be addressed this year, also a great year to find your soulmate! A good year to enhance your intuition.
Personal Year 3 – Communications and expression. The number 3 year is a fun year and a great time to socialize and make new friends. Let out your emotions with self-expression through dance, writing, cooking - follow your passion! Great time to take a holiday but remember to stay grounded as your personal 3 year and universal 5 year may make you take on too many things at once!
Personal Year 4 – Building and planning. A personal 4 year can be a great year for you to build a solid foundation for your future. Home improvements, focusing on your health, setting up investments for the future, getting your home ready for sale are some of the things that you can do to build a solid foundation for your future. This can be a year of hard work but you will be rewarded for your efforts.
Personal Year 5 – Movement and change. This can be an action packed year full of unexpected change and adventure. Whereas last year you may have felt restricted, this year you will feel freedom and want to experience new things. A great year for travel, meeting new people but remember to stay grounded. With the 5 universal year and your personal year 5 you may tend to overindulge, in all your activities.
Personal Year 6 – Responsibility and Universal love. This will be a year of love, family, domestic responsibility and sacrifice. If you are in the healing or service based career you will be given plenty of opportunities to help others. Your relationship with friends and family will require your attention. A good year to get married or engaged or divorced/breakup. This is a year where your home will require your attention. So, good time to redecorate, renovate or move.
Personal Year 7 – Introspection and personal growth. This is a great year to focus on your inner development. A year of privacy, solitude, personal and spiritual growth. A very good time to study especially anything that relates to metaphysics, analytics, philosophy, science, computer and technology, psychology or conventional or alternative health. This can be a quieter ‘inner’ year, a year you can ask yourself the bigger questions where is my life going, what is my life purpose?
Personal Year 8 – Karmic Justice and power. 8 is the number of power, material and financial gain, achievement, reward, status, and satisfaction. For some there will be opportunities for recognition, expansion and financial gain, while others may experience a reversal of fortune or financial loss. 8 is the number of karmic balance, the outcome of the year is often in proportion to your lessons along with your efforts, attitude, and intentions over the past 7 years. This is also a year to reclaim your personal power by asserting yourself when dealing with authority and confronting anything or anyone that has disempowered you in some way.
Personal Year 9 – Endings and Completions. As this is the final year in a nine-year cycle, it focuses on completion and transformation in preparation for new beginnings. A major part of this transformation involves letting go of the things in your life that no longer serve you—whether it’s a job, friendship, relationship, residence, mind-set or behaviour you may have out grown. Nothing new happens in the 9 Year until the necessary endings take place. The more you strive to begin something new without first releasing the old, the more resistance life will give you.
When calculating your personal year number if it works out to be 11, 22 these numbers are not reduced to a single digit. These are known as master numbers.
11/2 – (Master number) The 11/2 personal year includes everything in a 2 personal year but you are given an opportunity to reach a higher level of awareness.
