Help protect your child’s vision for the future! 👧👦
CooperVision MiSight® daily contact lenses are the first soft lenses clinically proven to slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in kids aged 8–12 — giving them clearer vision today and healthier eyes tomorrow.

Unlike regular lenses that simply correct distance vision, MiSight® lenses help manage how light focuses on the retina, which can slow down how quickly myopia worsens over time.

At Optometrists’ Clinic Inc., our optometrists can assess whether MiSight® lenses are a good fit for your child and provide expert fitting and ongoing care at our Edmonton, Leduc, and Westlock locations.

📍 Myopia can advance quickly — early steps matter!

💡 Seeing halos around lights? Let’s shed some light on what’s going on!

Halos — bright rings around headlights, streetlights, or lamps — happen when light scatters instead of focusing clearly on the retina. This can be due to common refractive issues like astigmatism, dry eye, or changes from early cataracts. In some cases, halos can be related to recent eye surgery or even deeper eye health changes.

Whether it’s occasional night glare or persistent halo vision that’s affecting driving or comfort, a comprehensive eye exam can help identify the cause and guide the right care. See us at any of our Edmonton, Leduc, or Westlock locations and prioritize your vision today. 👓✨

Constantly reaching for eye drops (especially in the winter)?? You’re not alone!

Dry Eye Syndrome affects millions of Canadians—and when left untreated, it can lead to inflammation, blurred vision, and even corneal damage.

Dry eye happens when your eyes don’t produce enough quality tears or when tears evaporate too quickly. There are different types—including evaporative, aqueous deficient, and mixed dry eye—and each requires a tailored treatment approach.

At Optometrists’ Clinic Inc., our optometrists perform comprehensive eye exams to identify the root cause of your symptoms and create a personalized treatment plan. From artificial tears and prescription eye drops to lifestyle adjustments, warm compresses, and omega-3 supplementation, we focus on long-term relief—not just temporary fixes.

If you’re experiencing burning, stinging, scratchy eyes, blurred vision, or light sensitivity, it’s time to get checked. Effective management can make a real difference in how your eyes feel every day.

Myopia (nearsightedness) is becoming more common—and it can progress quickly during childhood. ACUVUE® Abiliti™ lenses are specially designed to help slow the progression of myopia, not just correct blurry distance vision.

These innovative contact lenses work by managing how light focuses on the retina, helping guide healthy eye growth while still providing clear, comfortable vision for everyday activities like school, sports, and screen time.

At Optometrists’ Clinic Inc., our optometrists assess, fit, and monitor ACUVUE® Abiliti™ lenses as part of a personalized myopia management plan—available at our Edmonton, Leduc, and Westlock locations.

Concerned about your child’s changing prescription? Early intervention can make a big difference.

Winter may feel cozy, but it’s also one of the brightest times of the year. ❄️☀️
Fresh snow can reflect up to 80% of UV rays, making outdoor light even harsher than in summer — especially on young, sensitive eyes.

Whether they’re sledding, skating, or walking to school, kids benefit from:
👓 UV-protective sunglasses
🧤 Proper winter gear
🧣 Routine eye checkups to ensure healthy vision all season long

Keep their eyes safe while they enjoy the bright side of winter.

👁️ Vision exam vs. Ocular health exam—what's the difference?

Vision Exam: Checks how well you see and updates your prescription for glasses or contacts.

Ocular Health Exam: Goes beyond vision testing to examine your eye structures (retina, optic nerve, cornea) and screen for diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Your eyes reveal a lot about your overall health! At Optometrists' Clinic, we prioritize comprehensive care that catches potential issues before symptoms appear.

📍 Been putting off your exam? January is the perfect time to schedule! We offer OCT imaging, visual field testing, and more at all 5 locations.
