What Is Diabetes?
Diabetes is a disease that occurs when the blood glucose also called blood sugar is too high. It is a homone made by pancreas, which is located in the tummy.
Overtime, having too much glucose in your blood can cause health problems like; heart disease and stroke, kidney disease, food problems, eye disease sexual and bladder disease, low blood sugar also called (hypoglycemia).
TYPES OF DIABETES
We have four types of Diabetes.
1) Type 1 diabetes
2) Type 2 diabetes
3) Gestational diabetes
4) Monogenic diabetes
1) Type 1 diabetes: It's a type of Diabetes that has no production of insuline.
2) Type 2 diabetes: In this type of diabetes, the supply of insuline isn't enough.
3) Gestational diabetes: This type of diabetes is common amongst pregnant women.
4) Monogenic diabetes: This type of Diabetes is inherited.
SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES.
1) Increase in thirst and urination.
2) Increase in hunger.
3) Fatigue ( which is weakness of the body).
4) Blurred vision.
5) Sores that do not heal.
6) Numbness or tingling in the hand of feet.
7) Unexpected weight loss.
