On Monday, November 17th, we have a Grand Trine in the water signs, with the Sun, ruler of our sense of Self, in water sign Scorpio connecting to Jupiter, ruler of our belief systems, in water sign Cancer and Saturn, ruler of karmic lessons, in water sign Pisces. This is creating an intense period of emotional and psychological introspection.

Remember that both Jupiter, ruler of expansion, and Saturn, ruler of contraction, are in retrograde motion. This turns the energies of these two planets inward, prompting us to deeply re-examine our past perceptions of ourselves. You are called to re-evaluate your emotional world and “undo” old patterns of self-sacrifice (Jupiter), and, at the same time, take accountability for your spiritual growth through the past choices you have made in your life (Saturn).

With the Sun in Scorpio in the mix, it is a time to self-reflect, confront the “shadows” of fear, doubt and uncertainty, shift your perspectives and what, or who, you are valuing, release beliefs about yourself that no longer serve you, and consciously pursue this auspicious opportunity for spiritual growth, expansion and transformation. You ARE good enough! You ARE worthy! You DO matter! And, you DO HAVE gifts, ideas and experiences to share with the world that can further the evolution of humanity.

The last few days have carried a charge that’s impossible to ignore.
With a G5 geomagnetic storm rippling through the atmosphere, the strongest class of solar storm, the northern skies have been painted in auroras not seen in our lifetime.
Beautiful… and potent.

With Mercury retrograde overlapping all this cosmic static, a lot of people are feeling agitated, forgetful, short-fused, overwhelmed, or just “off.”
The energy around us feels erratic, almost like everyone’s nervous system is buzzing.

Today, as I head out into the world, I’m carrying Black Tourmaline as a grounding reminder.

Why Black Tourmaline?

While crystals don’t physically block solar energy, this stone has a long history in global folklore as a powerful protector from chaotic or intrusive energies.

Traditionally, Black Tourmaline is believed to:
• Absorb energetic noise and emotional static
• Ground the body when everything feels overstimulating
• Create a symbolic shield between you and the world
• Help with boundaries during heightened collective intensity

Scientifically, tourmaline is both piezoelectric and pyroelectric , meaning it can build a subtle natural charge when warmed or touched.

Clay Date with The Good Witch & Ziata’s Pottery
Join us in Highland Park on November 8th from 2–5 PM for a hands-on Pottery and Incense-Making Workshop. Together, we’ll mold ritual trays from clay, sacred vessels to hold your offerings, crystals, or daily magic, and craft our own incense sticks using resins gathered from Egypt and Turkey.

It’s an afternoon of earth, scent, and a time to play, create, and connect through ritual and artistry.

I’m thrilled to announce that The Good Witch of LA is opening her doors for a new series of hands-on, heart-centered workshops, each one crafted in collaboration with inspiring artists, teachers, and those who bring beauty and healing into the world.

We’re beginning this journey with something truly special, a collaboration with Princess of , an incredible ceramicist and teacher whose artistry captures the spirit of earth and ritual.

Together, we’ll guide you through a Saturday afternoon of clay molding and incense making, where you’ll shape and paint your own ritual altar dish, a sacred vessel to hold your sacred paolo santos, sage, incense, and crystals. You’ll also craft a batch of handmade incense, blended with resins I’ve brought back from Egypt and Turkey, along with sandalwood powder and other natural ingredients.

On the day of the workshop, you’ll create and paint your pieces with intention, and Princess will finish each one with her signature glaze and fire them in her kiln. Once complete, your finished altar dish will be ready for pickup or can be lovingly mailed to you, a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake born of your own hands and energy.

You’ll leave with your incense and the memory of crafting something sacred, a magical takeaway to continue your rituals at home. 🌿

Close your eyes and visualize the soft, soothing energy of rose quartz, stone of unconditional love, flowing like a gentle stream. Imagine its soft pink light wrapping around our city, calming the flames and cooling the embers. With every breath, see the fire within and around us ease, turning chaos into calm.

Together, as we hold this vision in our hearts, we become vessels of peace. Let’s use our collective strength to transform pain into hope.
