Congressman Michael McCaul's decision not to seek reelection marks the end of an extraordinary chapter of leadership.

We are deeply grateful for his vision in launching the Congressional Childhood Cancer Caucus (CCCC) and for his unwavering faithfulness to children battling cancer. Because of his commitment to the smallest and most innocent patients among us, meaningful childhood cancer legislation was introduced, passed, and signed into law.

The progress our community has made is a direct result of his leadership and belief that kids with cancer deserve better. Thank you, Congressman McCaul, for standing with families and for leaving a legacy that will continue to save lives.

So grateful to be part of the newly formed North Texas Childhood Cancer Coalition 💛 This incredible group of organizations is coming together with one shared goal: stronger collaboration in support of children with cancer and their families.

The Carson Leslie Foundation is honored to be at the table, and we can't wait to see how, together, we expand our impact, strengthen resources, and serve our community even more.

The Senate failed to advance the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act despite bipartisan support in the House. This bill would have accelerated pediatric cancer research and expanded access to life-saving treatments for children with rare cancers.

Named for Mikaela Naylon, a brave young advocate who fought for better care for others, the bill represents real hope for families still waiting and the children in this photo who have and are in the fight.

Today, we remember Carson Leslie on the 16th anniversary of his passing. 🤍

Carson was courageous, joyful, feisty, and full of life. Cancer may have taken his life, but it never defined him. He chose strength over fear, joy over sadness, and faith over discouragement. As he so beautifully lived out Joshua 1:9, he reminded all of us what it means to be truly courageous.

We are honored to share this poem written by Grace, who attended Covenant with Carson and captured his spirit with such care and love.

Carson, you are forever missed, forever loved, forever remembered.

Welcome to a new year with the Carson Leslie Foundation. We want to take a moment to reintroduce who we are and why we do what we do.

The Carson Leslie Foundation exists to honor Carson’s life, his courage, and his wish to “help the next kid.” Everything we do is guided by three core pillars:

🧡 Encourage – Supporting kids in the battle with mental health resources, connection, and hope.

🔬 Research – Funding childhood brain cancer research, with a focus on medulloblastoma through .

📣 Advocacy | Awareness | Action – Working at the federal, state, and local levels to drive real change for kids and families.

This year, we move forward with purpose, gratitude, and hope, and we’re so thankful to have this community walking alongside us. ✨ Here’s to a year of impact.
