One week later, and we’re still riding high from DPR Construction 10th Annual Hoot & Holler! 🎶 What a night where Corey Kent and Stoney LaRue had 3,000+ guests singing loud and proud two-stepping all night.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to DPR’s incredible sponsors for making it all possible. Because of you, DPR raised big bucks for Children's Heath Dallas and the Carson Leslie Foundation.

We’re so grateful for tis amazing community🤠✨

Today, CPRIT approved a new wave of funding specifically for childhood cancer research. While national funding for pediatric cancer often sits at just 4%, Texas is leading the way by dedicating 13% of its massive portfolio to kids.

Since its inception, CPRIT has:
✅ Invested over $500 Million in childhood and adolescent cancer research.
✅ Funded 265+ projects across the state.
✅ Reached over 19,000 pediatric patients through clinical studies.

From groundbreaking work on Neuroblastoma at Texas Tech to life-saving leukemia treatments at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas is where the future of pediatric oncology is being written.

Let’s celebrate the scientists, doctors, and families working toward a world without childhood cancer! ❤️🎗

BREAKING: The CPRIT board has approved more than $15 million in CPRIT Scholar recruitment grants to bring five new cancer scientists to four Texas research institutions. The CPRIT Scholar program has brought 348 of the top cancer researchers to Texas.

Last week, we shared a little extra love 💗

We delivered Valentine's Hearts of G💛LD Hooteannies to our friends at Children's Health to help give kids a "hug" and let them know they always have people cheering them on.

We also dropped off cozy blankets to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, because comfort, care, and community matter now more than ever.

Today is International Childhood Cancer Day, and at the Carson Leslie Foundation, we don’t just observe, we take action! 🎗️

Carson fought his 3-year battle with an indomitable spirit and a "smooth-bald head that undeniably shouted cancer." He asked us to make sure his voice was heard, and today, we carry that voice for every teen and child still in the trenches.

The 2026 global theme is "From Challenge to Change," and that is exactly what we are doing:
🔹 Funding Research
🔹 Enriching Lives
🔹 Take Action

Childhood cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease for children in the US. Let’s change that statistic together.

Happy Valentine's Day from the Carson Leslie Foundation! 💖

Did you know we make "You Are Loved" fingerprint cards like this to put in every encouragement gift we give kids? It's just a reminder to let them know they are not alone.

As one season ends 🏈, another begins ⚾, but our mission stays the same. 💛

Through our Encourage pillar, one of the things we do is take teens battling cancer out of the hospital rooms and into moments that spark joy and connection.

Moments like these give strength, spark encouragement, and remind us that none of us fights alone, while leaving a lasting mark on our hearts.✨ Follow along, share our mission, and help us continue our work encouraging kids in the fight and finding a cure.

Every cancer journey is different, but no family should face it alone.

The Carson Leslie Foundation supports critical research focused on medulloblastoma, helping move us closer to safer treatments and better outcomes for children and teens like Carson.

This World Cancer Day, we honor the courage of kids and families fighting a rare and devastating disease, and we recommit to funding hope. 🔗 carsonlesliefoundation.org/donate/

Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant brain tumor in children, affecting mostly kids under the age of 10. While survival rates have improved, many survivors face lifelong side effects, and research remains underfunded.

On this day, we stand for every child, every family, every journey.
