Laughing at myself on the inside when I saw this.
I never knew what an anxiety attack was until I saw Iron Man 3, when Tony Stark was having his. I never knew my sudden rushes of panic had a name, and I thought it was just me. It was comforting to know it had a name and that I was not alone. It was empowering to know I can do something about it.
And one of that "something" is stashing Valor everywhere. And I do mean everywhere. This is a photo of a Valor roll-on in our car, on the driver's door. If in case I just need a sniff, or a douse.
Sometimes I think it's placebo, having a name like Valor and all. But it's sweet heavy scent can really ground you, make your clouded vision clear, helps remove the clutter in your brain and in your heart, makes the room bigger when it was about to swallow you in. And after a few seconds of sniffing and praying with still your eyes closed, take a deep breath through the nose. That exhale through the mouth that comes after, you feel all your fears and what-ifs exiting your system. You just know that all will be well.
