We, the entire GAHNA AI Lab (ExorionAI) family along with the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, E-Cell, IIT Bombay team, are deeply grateful to Honorable. Smriti Zubin Irani Ji (Former Union Minister) for gracing the E-Summit and the GAHNA CyberMind Launch with her presence 🙏

Her inspiring words resonated with entrepreneurs, students, researchers and industry leaders across the hall, reminding all of us of India’s ability and responsibility to build technology that stands on its own foundations.

GAHNA CyberMind, launched at IIT Bombay, represents a new chapter in India’s sovereign AI journey. Built fully in India, it is designed to strengthen our cybersecurity landscape through trustworthy, domain-specific and auditable AI. Some of the core advantages include:

(1) Sovereign AI architecture that ensures India’s critical data, intelligence and decision systems remain within the nation’s control.
(2) Domain-trained cybersecurity intelligence tailored for SOC teams, critical infrastructure and regulated sectors.
(3) Internal reasoning capability resulting in high-accuracy, low-hallucination responses essential for cyber defence.
(4) On-premise or air-gapped deployment for enterprises and government agencies that require strict governance and compliance.

We GAHNA AI Lab research team, are doing a series of podcasts, sessions, and webinars to bring awareness and encourage research on Sovereign AI and Hyperlocalized Small Language Models for India.

As part of this initiative, our Founder and Chief Scientist, Dr. Utpal Chakraborty(PhD), delivered a Live Webinar at the GSDC - Global Skill Development Council studio on GAHNA – India’s Hyperlocalized Small Language Model framework.

In this session, he discussed the strategic need for sovereign, domain-trained SLMs, the architectural foundations of GAHNA, the importance of transparency, auditability, and secure on-premise deployment, and how GAHNA enables enterprises and government bodies to adopt AI with full control, compliance, and trust. He also highlighted the role of hyperlocal reasoning capabilities and sector-specific intelligence that GAHNA brings to critical areas such as cybersecurity, finance, education, and public services.
