Kicks for Kids is an award-winning 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for children with special needs. We aim to celebrate children traditionally marginalized from organized sports. With branches in Los Angeles and San Jose, Kicks for Kids hosts soccer and recreational activities, provides wholesome snacks, and presents tips for healthy living for children with physical and developmental disabilities. Our organization revolves around 5 Fundamental Focuses:
1. Free -- The activities are entirely free to all participants.
2. Family -- We strive to create a welcoming environment by encouraging family members to participate with their athlete.
3. Friendship -- Through a one-to-one player to volunteer ratio, we create a bully-free, inclusive setting. Each player can play at his or her own pace!
4. Fitness -- Exercising for 30-60 minutes a day can provide a wide range of health benefits.
