Freshwater makes up a very small fraction of all water on the planet. While nearly 70 percent of the world is covered by water, only 2.5 percent of it is fresh. The rest is saline and ocean-based. Even then, just 1 percent of our freshwater is easily accessible, with much of it trapped in glaciers and snowfields. In essence, only 0.007 percent of the planet's water is available to fuel and feed its 6.8 billion people.

There will not be much water in summer and hence better to visit in or just after monsoon.

The place is about one hour from Kempegowda Bus Terminal

32 km from Kempegowda Bus Terminal
and
7.4 km away from the Art of Living Ashram

This venue is a great place to for trekking and mountain hiking and just to a spend your day away from hustle and bustle of the city. It is preferable that you go to this place in two wheeler because the roads become very narrow when you are almost nearing the place. There is also a parking charge for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers just outside the shrine, you have to park your vehicle and then start walking towards the falls

Now a lots of residential projects are coming up near TK falls. This falls is slowly gaining interest in South Bangalore. A lot of biking expeditions are conducted to this place. little away from Bangalore one can enjoy greenery..

From Tadasana, weight is shifted to one leg, for example, starting with the left leg. The entire sole of the foot remains in contact with the floor. The right knee is bent and the right foot placed on the left inner thigh, or in half lotus position. In either foot placement, the hips should be open, with the right knee pointing towards the right, not forward. With the toes of the right foot pointing directly down, the left foot, center of the pelvis, shoulders and head are all vertically aligned. Hands are typically held above the head either pointed directly upwards and unclasped, or clasped together in anjali mudra.

The asana is typically held for 20 to 60 seconds to stretch the spine, returning to tadasana while exhaling, then repeating standing on the opposite leg
