Childhood Cancers - the facts about research and funding The leading funder of cancer research in the UK has said that a mere 2.4% of it's budget is allocated to research into childhood cancers. Thank you.

We do not think that this is acceptable. We would like a serious debate into this issue and into the treatment of young cancer sufferers in this country, specifically asking why so many families are forced to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds to take sick children abroad for ground breaking treatment unavailable in this country. Please join us if you feel the same. We are learning as we go along and would value any input. This page will also post any interesting articles relating to research into childhood cancers.
