EBOLA - finding cure Ebola first appeared in 1976 in 2 simultaneous outbreaks, in Nzara, Sudan, and in Yambuku, Democratic Republic of Congo.

The latter was in a village situated near the Ebola River, from which the disease takes its name. This page is to create awareness for people worldwide to intervene in the "finding cure" of the world most deadliest disease outbreak in Africa. We highly encourage you to post any information that is relevant.

The Menstruation 🩸 Bracelet
Is the visual, simple but yet a powerful symbol for menstruation and MH Day.

The Bracelet can also be used to specifically tackle the silence and taboos surrounding menstruation and to help end period stigma.

Beauties With Brain and partners are aiming @ distributing sanitary pads and personal hygiene items to 500 girls living on the streets and in slum communities in Freetown on 28/5 MH Day.

Support us by donating menstrual items, financially or by volunteering and get a menstruation bracelet.

The primary targets of GBV are women and adolescent girls as not only are they at high risk of GBV, they also suffer deep consequences as a result of gender discrimination and their lower socio-economic status, women have fewer options and less resources at their disposal to avoid or escape abusive situations and to seek justice. It goes on on their sexual and reproductive health, unwanted pregnancies, unsafe abortions and resulting deaths, trauma and higher risks of sexually transmitted infections.

Remember “A single drop of rain 🌧 makes a mighty ocean 🌊” it not about “Who is with me but what can I do”
