I provide counseling and personalized support for individuals, teens, couples & families. You deserve to live a life that you are genuinely excited about! Family, this work, growth and selfless service are what motivate me on a daily basis. Professionally, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate and Licensed Professional Counseling Intern, Supervised by Marshall Lyles, MA, LMFTS, LPCS, RPTS. I received my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward's University and I consider myself a die-hard Austinite. Personally, I'm a proud Aggie, avid traveler and lover of animals and all things coffee. I don't believe in strangers and love connecting with people in the community. Giving back is a huge part of my life and I've spent countless hours volunteering for crisis helplines, hospitals, youth support services and organizations helping individuals living without a home. I am also a Polish dual-citizen and travel frequently to visit my family on the other side of the world.

“Resist the divisive either/or”

If you haven’t read Brene Brown’s “Braving the Wildnerness”, now is the time more than ever.

Is there tension and vulnerability in speaking truth to false choices? Hell, yes. It’s the wilderness.

But most of the criticism comes from people who benefit from divisiveness and try to shame us for not hating the right people.

It’s definitely messier taking a nuanced stance, but it’s also the heart of effective activism, critical thinking, and true belonging.

Far too often, I work with couples who give into the "me versus you" mentality when it comes to disagreements, communication, s*x, finances, stress, parenting, etc... With this approach, there are no winners and the relationship loses.

Rather, let's make a radical shift to the "us versus the problem-at-hand" mindset. This increases connection and leads to more productive problem-solving.
