Psalm 56:8 — “You have collected all my tears in Your bottle.”
⸻
Devotional: “He Sees Every Tear”
There are moments when words fail. Pain can hit so deep that all you can do is cry. Maybe it’s grief, betrayal, loss, or the weight of holding everything together. You cry in silence. You wipe your face before anyone sees. But even in those hidden moments, God sees.
Psalm 56:8 tells us that God doesn’t just see your tears — He collects them. That means every tear that has ever fallen from your eyes is known by Him, noticed by Him, and remembered by Him. You may feel like no one understands, but God does. He isn’t distant. He’s tender. Intimate. Close.
Think about that: the God who created the stars cares enough to keep track of your pain. He’s writing your story, and none of your suffering is wasted. One day, He’ll wipe every tear from your eyes (Revelation 21:4), but until then, He is with you—even in the weeping.
Let that comfort you today: You’re not alone. You’re not forgotten. Every tear matters to God.
