I started with Faster Way in October of 2024. I was very overweight, tired, lacked motivation to do anything, very menopausal, and just very frustrated with my health.

I saw a friend had lost several pounds and looked phenomenal. I asked her what she was doing. She sent me her coach's name and info. I talked to the coach (Nicole), but my husband wasn't interested in me spending the money on something unknown. He said let's go to the gym. My question to him was when? I am not going alone. So I put it off for 6 weeks, then joined Nicole's group in October!

I kept going. I realized that I COULD do difficult things. The workouts were hard but rewarding. The food was a big change and hard at first.

Look, I love that you're prioritizing protein as much as the next person, but can we talk about fiber for a sec??

We're out here chugging protein shakes and tracking macros like our lives depend on it, but most of us are getting maybe half the fiber we actually need. And no, I'm not talking about those sketchy fiber powders you find on Amazon.

I'm talking about REAL, whole food fiber. The kind you actually have to CHEW. Apples. Berries. Brussels sprouts. Beans. Lentils. Oats. Broccoli. Sweet potatoes. You know, actual food.

Here's the thing: protein is crucial, don't get me wrong. But fiber? It's literally working overtime for your gut health, keeping your blood sugar stable, feeding your good bacteria, lowering inflammation, and is one of the biggest predictors of longevity.

You can't supplement your way out of a bad diet. Your body knows the difference between real food and powder in a tub.

So yes, hit your protein. But alsoโ€ฆ maybe eat an apple and green veggie today? Your future self will thank you. ๐ŸŽ

The truth is, you don't need to do it all or do it perfectly. Just start showing up!

2 of my ladies (shoutout Angi and Sara!) who've each dropped over 50 pounds would be the first to tell you they didn't do it all 100% perfectly but kept putting in effort and making small changes along the way. Week in, week out... progress without perfection ๐Ÿ˜˜
