I was delighted to meet the lovely ladies from La Belle Forme Clinic Glasgow this week! Claire got in touch to discuss their annual charity support strategy. Every year they pick a different charity and between patients and team they donate as much as they can. Well they absolutely followed through on this promise!
Two things struck me about their generous support.
*Firstly, they are based in central Glasgow, but happy to go wherever they feel they can best be of use.
*Secondly, in our own way… each of our organisations help people. We may do this in different ways, but ultimately people are happier having used our services. I think that’s kind of a cool parallel.
We spent some time together, looking round the warehouse and they allowed me to share the stories, ethos and strategies we hold dear. As often happens, they found it a wee but emotional. Few people realise the crisis we are all facing and how far reaching food insecurity is until they visit. It was an absolute pleasure to meet them, thank them and share our story with them. Thank you so much ladies. To you and all of your team and patients, you are going to make a difference this Christmas. Your generosity is going to bring Christmas magic to children who truly deserve it. That’s the real gift isn’t it? ❤️🎄🥖🐠
