It’s wild how much better you can feel when you stop ignoring what your body is whispering… (right before it starts screaming).

For years, I woke up exhausted, bloated, puffy, and chalked it up to “midlife.”

My friends felt the same, so I thought it was normal.

Want better gut health, balanced hormones, and smoother digestion?
Start with fiber.

Fiber isn’t just about “being regular.”
It helps with appetite, blood sugar, cholesterol, estrogen detox, and overall metabolic health.

Most women only get about half of what they actually need, and then wonder why they’re bloated, constipated, or always craving sugar.

Aim for 25–35g a day, but make it simple with these foods 👇
My Top 10 High-Fiber Foods
🌿 Artichoke (1 medium = 7g) – Roast it or toss the hearts on a salad.
🥦 Brussels sprouts (1 cup = 4g) – Shred and sauté with olive oil and balsamic.
🍐 Pear (1 = 5g) – Slice with a little almond butter for an afternoon snack.
🍓 Raspberries (1 cup = 8g) – Add to Greek yogurt or oatmeal.
🫘 Beans (½ cup = 7.5g) – Mix into chili, tacos, or salads.
🥑 Avocado (½ = 5g) – Smash on toast or add to eggs.

4 Tips for Fiber That Actually Works for Your Gut
1️⃣ Go slow. If you jump from 5g to 35g overnight, you’re going to feel it. Add a few grams at a time.
2️⃣ Hydrate. Fiber without water is like cement in your gut. Aim for half your body weight (lbs) in ounces daily.
3️⃣ Mix your sources. Don’t just rely on one food. Different fibers feed different bacteria. Variety = better gut health.
4️⃣ Chew your food. Digestion starts in your mouth. Slow down. It helps everything move better.

It’s not just menopause or aging. There are measurable hormonal and metabolic shifts driving these symptoms, and understanding them is key to solving the problem.

1️⃣ Estrogen decline
Lower estrogen shifts fat storage toward the lower belly and affects neurotransmitters, affecting focus, memory, and mood.

2️⃣ Progesterone drop
This hormone regulates sleep and stress. When it falls, sleep quality suffers and stress responses intensify, fueling fatigue and fat storage.

3️⃣ Cortisol dysregulation
High or mis-timed cortisol disrupts insulin sensitivity, increases abdominal fat, and contributes to brain fog. Chronic stress makes it so much worse.

4️⃣ Testosterone decline
Reduced testosterone decreases muscle mass, slows metabolism, and lowers energy. Maintaining and building muscle is the key to offset these changes.

Even if TSH looks “normal,” low T3 or impaired conversion in the liver reduces metabolic rate and energy. Without adequate support, calorie burn and fat loss suffer.

6️⃣ Liver overload
The liver metabolizes estrogen, cortisol, and other hormones. If it’s stressed, through excess fat, alcohol, inflammation, or poor diet, hormone clearance is impaired, disrupting fat loss and energy balance.
