PAANYAYA: Nais ipabatid ng Bataan Provincial Health Office na ngayong buwan ng Agosto ay magkakaroon ng malawakang School-Based Immunization o ang ating "BakunaEskwela 2025".

Ito ay isasagawa sa mga pampublikong paaralan dito sa Bataan, kaya't hinihikayat ang lahat ng magulang ng mga estudyanteng nasa Grade 1, Grade 4, at Grade 7 na pabakunahan ang inyong mga anak.

Ang mga bakunang ipamamahagi ay mga bakuna laban sa Measles, Rubella, Tetanus, at Diphtheria para sa mga estudyanteng nasa Grade 1 at Grade 7; habang ang mga babaeng nasa Grade 4 naman ay maaaring pabakunahan laban sa HPV. Ito ay libre, ligtas, at epektibo bilang proteksyon ng inyong mga anak laban sa mga nabanggit na sakit.

Kaya't halina't makilahok at kunin ang pagkakataong ito para mabakunahan ng libre ang inyong mga anak. Tandaan, ang batang bakunado, protektado!

Para sa mas detalyadong impormasyon, makipag-ugnayan sa paaralang pinapasukan ng inyong mga anak o sa pinakamalapit na health center sa inyong lugar.

✅ Fact: Common colds are caused by viruses, not rain!

🔹 Crowded, enclosed spaces during rainy season increase virus spread (hello, trangkaso!).
🔹 Prevention: Proper hygiene, face masks, enough rest, and flu vaccination!

❌ Myth: "Chickenpox is a one-time disease, di na pwedeng bumalik." 🐔

✅ Fact: Chickenpox may be once, but Shingles (Herpes Zoster) can strike anytime!
🔹 Varicella-zoster virus stays dormant in nerve cells after chickenpox.
🔹 Risk factors: Aging, stress, weakened immune system.
🔹 Shingles = Painful rash, nerve pain (postherpetic neuralgia), eye complications (herpes zoster ophthalmicus).

💉 Tip: Shingles vaccine (for 50+ y/o & immunocompromised) can prevent reactivation!
