Let's remember why we started this movement. We began because Black women in the U.S. are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women. But 80% of these deaths are preventable.

An interesting way to learn more about these critical statistics and real stories is by watching the documentary Aftershock, available on Hulu. It’s a powerful way to understand maternal mortality and why we must take action.

👩🏽‍⚕️ Join us in spreading awareness, advocating for better care, and supporting moms and babies across South Carolina.
