T1D in Action

The mission of T1D in Action is to empower, educate, inspire, and support people living with T1d and those who support them. We want all people living with T1D to live a life that they love and to be active for their health in a safe and supported group. We will host monthly activities to encourage people in our community to get out and be active together. Each activity will begin with a short educational session provided by various diabetes experts and fellow new friends with T1D.

Adults diagnosed with T1D (after the age of 18) typically have limited access to added support often provided to children and adolescents; this group is meant to fill a needed gap in support for adults with T1D and their families/significant others.
