Smoothies, smoothies, and more smoothies! Mostly having smoothies and doing some juicing while I research upgrading my juicer. My juicers are 4 and 5 years old so I’m pretty much starting from scratch on my research.
I decided to give a smoothie delivery service a try to experiment with new recipes and try out ingredients that may not be available the area.
I’m on week 2 from greenblender.com, so far I have found a couple of recipes that I love and several that I like.
I have a $20 coupon link if anyone wants to try.

Why yes, that is a 48 ounce bottle of my favorite Kombucha. I haven't made my own Kombucha for many, many months but maybe drinking this bottle will motivate me to start again.

About a year and a half ago I was in Charlotte North Carolina on a business trip. Thanks to the Happy Cow app I found a great little place called Luna's Living Kitchen. This uniquely decorated restaurant with friendly staff had a wonderful raw vegan menu, delicious juices and elixirs. On a six day trip I ate there three times and I bought juice for every day. At the end of my trip I had six of these glass jars. I did not have access to recycling services and could not bear to throw them away so I put them in my suitcase and brought them home. A year and a half later I still regularly use these great jars when I make juice. I guess I got them recycled after all!
