Kia ora tatou.
With our rahui now lifted the whanau at Te Whare Tapu A Io are now harvesting. It’s been a stunning few days to now be able to provide Io mahi to all our extended whanau.

We never went away, we just needed our space to grieve.

As roopu members from Australia and New Zealand start their travels to attend whakahauha in Tamaki Makaurau this weekend with Melbourne and Poneke roopu members departing this morning, naturally a karakia and io blessing was sent their way to guide their journey. A little karakia and io blessings is always something that my nana taught me growing up.

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came and joined us today... what a stunning way it was to share kōrero, create new connections and share Io with you.

A big thankyou to our Tungāne Eli Toeke (Te Io Māramatanga) for creating and sharing beautiful Io filled space for all who came. And Deanne Sergi (Tohu Creations) who joined us from Melbourne this weekend as we prepare for Whakahauhā in Auckland next weekend.

We will be looking at creating a regular Hauora Space once a month so keep an eye out whānau mā.
