At Banyan, movement is one of our core wellness pillars.
From yoga and strength training to dance and creative expression, our community gathers to move, breathe, and reconnect with the body.
When we move together, something powerful happens. Strength returns. Energy shifts. The body remembers its vitality.
This pillar is not about perfection or performance. It is about remembering that your body was designed to move, release, and come alive.
Movement is medicine.

A lovely reminder that love isn’t only something we give away, it’s also something we return to ourselves. These affirmations are little notes for your heart. Read them slowly. Take what resonates. Leave the rest.
You’re allowed to feel held too. 💌

This month isn’t just about loving others. ❤️
It’s about noticing yourself, your needs, your rhythms, and the journey you’re still on.
When we care for ourselves fully, we show up more gently, more deeply, and more fully for the people around us.

Banyan Tree Women’s Collective (BTWC) was founded by two Bay Area women. Although they came from very different life experiences, over their years of friendship and sisterhood they shared the vision and passion to create a diverse and inclusive wellness collective founded by women for the women of their communities.
BTWC welcomes all allies, innovators and believers in equality to join the collective regardless of their gender or identity. We believe there is power in community.
Banyan Tree Women’s Collective serves the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula and online communities with expert-driven resources to educate about and promote health, physical fitness, nutrition and overall wellness.
BTWC was born out of the yearning to build a community that offers a safe and welcoming space to empower, restore, and reclaim through a spectrum of wellness options for the bodies, minds and spirits of women and their allies.

Banyan Tree Women’s Collective will create a legacy of educated and empowered individuals passing along their knowledge and healthy choices to their families, friends and neighbors.
We believe that wellness is achieved when a person can learn, grow, and make choices within a supportive environment.
Spirit and Soul are fed by environments that hold space for honesty, mistakes, and the overcoming of adversity.
Regardless of socio-economic status, beliefs or circumstances, everyone should be allowed the opportunity to grow without being shamed or judged.
There is power in numbers, and we are only as strong as the weakest member in our community.
Health workers, artists, healers, teachers deserve a safe and inclusive space to share their work and should be respected as wellness advocates. It is through these workers’ knowledge, commitment and sacrifice that our community is given options to heal, overcome and grow.
