This is what it’s all about. Science works. This is the blood work of one of our athletes, after finishing on the podium at the World Ironman Championships yesterday. Despite the grueling heat and humidity of Kona, her electrolyte numbers were spot on. That’s what dialing in your nutrition and hydration looks like. Plain and simple… maintaining proper electrolyte balance.

We also volunteered in the med tent yesterday, and saw so many athletes that just didn’t address the fourth pillar of nutrition. If you can believe it, we saw athletes that GAINED 10 lbs during the race, or over 5% of their body weight. That is a clear sign of hyponatremia, and could be life threatening. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reach out if you struggle with hydration, or know someone that does. It doesn’t have to be that way! We would love to work with you. Even if you couldn’t meet us in Kona this year, please reach out!
