Hello good people,

It’s been a LONG time! Just thought I would post an update after a long hiatus from the socials. Like most people I have been laying low during the pandemic, working full time in my dental job. Within the last 2 years I have relocated to Caboolture, taken up studying a diploma in kinesiology and bought and renovated a house. So needless to say it’s been a busy time! I’m now in a place to start treating again and have my own dedicated space to do so.

At this stage I am available for appointments on Friday afternoons, Saturdays (and Sundays on request) from the 22nd of April. I offer Remedial, Deep tissue and Swedish massage.

DM if you would like to discuss arranging an appointment 🌟

🔸Do you feel like your head is held in front of your body, your shoulders are rounded, or you are hunched over? You may have a condition known as Upper Crossed Syndrome.
Upper crossed syndrome occurs when there is an imbalance in the muscles of the neck, shoulders and chest caused by poor posture. Repetitive tasks such as office work and use of computers or electronics can cause some of these muscles to become tight from over use and others to become weakened. It is common among office workers, students and drivers, can cause symptoms such as neck and back pain or aches, muscle tension and headaches.
If this sounds like you, I can help by releasing overworked, tight muscles and prescribing specific exercises to help strengthen weak muscles to restore balance..... For appointments, send me a DM or call 0416 248 817. APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE WEDNESDAY 4th DECEMBER

O N E of the most common questions I get asked is ‘what is the difference between Swedish and Remedial massage? Well........
🔸Swedish massage aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension and increasing blood flow. Swedish massage techniques include kneading, long strokes and circular movements. (There is also deep tissue massage which is similar to Swedish massage however more pressure is applied).
🔸Remedial massage is the treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue in the body to assist in pain and injury management and rehabilitation. Clients are evaluated using systematic assessment to identify and treat particular muscles or conditions and requires a good knowledge of anatomy. As remedial massage therapists, we are trained in many different treatment techniques we can use depending on the presenting complaint. I like to spend some time chatting to my clients so that together we can determine
Which modality is appropriate for them.
