A Spouse's Silent Struggle with PTSD This is a site for spouses, or caregivers, of family members with PTSD to vent, ask questions, or just find a "support buddy". Hello all! Welcome!

I am a 37yo spouse of 16+ years to an OIF/OEF Army Vet that is diagnosed with severe and chronic PTSD from his tour in 2002-2003. We do have an 11yo DS, and a 9yo DD (post diagnosis). (He's also diagnosed with ADHD, but not related, and tinnititus which is service related.) I have always been somewhat of a "worry-wart" type of person, but I have increasingly realized that I am altering myself based on his condition. This will be my "blog" or outlet and I encourage others to chime in or ask any questions/give advice you may have. Treatments and healing are and will be a lifelong process for all parties involved. No judging allowed here.
