MORE legs today.

Hammered out the hammies with 35lb bell deadlifts and bridges!!

W5/D4 spiked up my heart rate to 170 in the HIIT which consisted of plank jacks. I had to step it out and use my bench for modifications as my foot is still really stiff from surgery. Little by little it is getting more flexible. I’ll get there eventually ❤️😊

Moral of today…don’t say you can’t, find a way to make it happen. Some movement is better than NO movement 💪🏻

Good Saturday morning everyone!!

W5/D3 - Shoulders. Word of the day wowohowwowweewow…yeah Triple sets. That means 3 sets of exercises with 12 reps for 3 rounds. Doing that math…324 total shoulder exercises. WITH a burnout at the end of 3 MORE exercises for 45 seconds for 3 rounds. 😳

Guess what?! I did it ALL!!! Yes I’m patting myself on my back. And that’s okay.

It is okay to celebrate YOUR success ❤️
In doing so, it may inspire others who are watching from afar. 💪🏻

Good luck to me in trying to wash my hair though 😆

Forgot to bring in a towel so I left a sweat angel on my bench yucky!🤢

W5/D2 - Chest and Back

Did rows with 30 lb bells and pullovers with 35 lbs. Bench press with 25 lb bells in each hand!

Phase 2 of LIIFT MORE

Wk5/D1 - Legs. Holy schmoly!! Talk about a grip strength burner!

I used 25lb dumbbells in each hand for deadlifts! Had to drop to 20 lb for the calf raises. Third set dropped to 15 for the calves but still did 25lb for deadlifts.

Great workout! Dripping with sweat everywhere!!!

If Only Game

Have you ever played the “if only game”?

You know what I’m talking about. “If only I hadn’t eaten that”, “If only I hadn’t said those words”, “If only I had gotten this chance”…I could honestly go on and on. But, I think y’all get the picture.

I play this game with myself ALL.THE.TIME.

What happens when we play this game? I know for me, I get down on myself and I’m some cases I spiral out of control! Such a negative game we play, right?!

It is time to stop looking in our rear view mirrors at the shoulda, woulda, coulda. Start to see how those choices, even if they were bad, made us into the beautiful, intelligent, human beings that we were created to be! Learn from those choices! Shatter that rear view mirror! Pick up those shattering, negative thoughts and turn them into positive learning words!

You deserve better than what you are giving yourself. You are loved and cherished. Trust and believe in yourself ❤️

My face after W1/D3 Back and Triceps…those darn Bench Tricep presses! 🥵

It will be interesting to see my face at week 8 of this program.

Now to get ready for work…have an almost 2 hour drive for a team meeting.

Nutrition is going to be hard today. I’ll be driving when it’s time to break my fast, so a road shake is a must 😂. Taking my breakfast (egg wrap) I chose a salad for my lunch meal but not sure what I will eat for dinner as I will be on my way home during this time. 🤷🏼‍♀️

One of my favorite verses from the Bible!

What makes us worry about tomorrow? Uncertainty for one. Tomorrow is the future and we don’t know what will happen in the future. We are control freaks! We want everything to happen as WE think it should happen.

What happens, though, when we let go of that “control”? What happens when we focus on today rather than worry about tomorrow? It frees our mind, heart and soul to be open for what is in store for us TODAY!

So lose control! Stop worrying about tomorrow. LIVE FOR TODAY!
