I’m not crying (ok yes I absolutely am). 🥺

Usually I’m too busy thinking about what needs to be done to reflect on how far I’ve come. Today though, I made an effort to pause and look back.

When I was a child I had no idea what my adult life would look like, but now I can see it’s been continuously evolving to this point since day one.

I’m sharing this partially as a public reflection, and partially so you get a little taste of how truly lucky I am to have made it this far. 💚

Thank you to my clients and my team for showing up day after day and trusting me.

Thank you to my spouse who is the silent hero behind the scenes, rooting for me before I even knew what this would look like and crafting plate after plate of delicious food to keep me fueled along the journey.

Thank you to everyone who taught and encouraged me along the way.

I wish blessings and light along your path.

Pain hurts. Not just physically, but emotionally. It can feel like you will always be stuck in it. 😩

Save this for the next time you get injured (because you can’t bubble wrap yourself). And remember, strength training is a fantastic way to reduce risk of injury, but it’s not a guarantee.

If you go too hard too soon after an injury, you are likely to get re-injured. 😅 Ease into movement (ask for help if you don’t know how!) and rebuild gradually. Your body will thank you.
