KADSAMHSA continues to expand its prevention and rehabilitation through engagement and empowerment initiatives. Yesterday, the Director General of KADSAMHSA hosted the Managing Director of the Kaduna Mining Development Company at the Kawo Community Center for Children and Adolescents.
The visit focused on assessing the achievements of the current jewelry-making cohort as the trainees approach the conclusion of their program. Impressed by the skills acquired by the beneficiaries, the MD of the Kaduna Mining Development Company restated his committment to partnership with the Agency and working together to scale up this intervention, leveraging Kaduna State’s rich ecosystem of jewelry and precious stones to provide thousands of youth with a constructive path to livelihood. This initiative is a direct implementation of the Governor's roadmap for sustainable human capital development.
