On the last day of Ostomy Awareness Month, I wanted to share Alex McPherson’s story. Thank you to all of our members and friends for what you do everyday to provide ostomy care and support. Regardless of what team we cheer for from the stands, we’re all on the same team when it comes to ostomy care and patient care!

Alex McPherson was an All-SEC kicker for Auburn football, and had to battle ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease to make a heart-warming return.

Today is the last day of . We loved seeing all of our SEC members and getting to connect with colleagues from other chapters as well! A few reminders before you head home:

- Poster Viewing is still available today until 2 PM ET in Cypress Ballroom
- The evaluation site is open through September 15! You can watch additional sessions on demand, then go back in and get an updated certificate once you complete the additional evaluations
