You can buy, read, and listen to all the self help books in the world.......They don't work unless you apply the knowledge. Inspiration is fleeting. Do the work. Make the routine and do the work. Every. Day. I honestly think we don't need the books and lectures. We know what to do. Down deep. The book and the lecture are just forms of procrastination. Yes, they can be helpful to pull out of you what's already there. And maybe there are some things you're confused about since the world tells us blah. Reality is , you know what you need to do. And each of us has our own. We are not one size fits all. Shut the crap off, listen to you and do. Act. Move. Live you!
If you're being dense, here let me help....put down the tw***ie, the wine, the beer, the cup full of sugar coffee and go take a walk. And then do it again tomorrow.

Did you know that many insurance companies have fitness plans available? Blue Cross Blue shield has a couple options. Aetna, Amerihealth and Medicare all have fitness plans you can choose from. Some have discounts while others reimburse the cost of your gym membership. I pay $25 a month for mine and that gives me access to many gyms across the country. This enables me to work with many of my clients at their gym. It also rewards me for staying fit by giving points that can be redeemed for shoes, watches etc...
Since we're at the resolution time of year, check yours. You might find some help for your goals

I know many of us are feeling a bit out of sorts due to the time change..I know I am. Here's a helpful chart to help get regulated. Notice the "get sunlight" part. Dr. Andrew Huberman says to go outside when the sun is first out and soak it up with no sunglasses on. Now don't stare directly at the sun, just allow some sunlight to get into your eyes. A few minutes each morning can really improve your sleep at night and your mood through the day.

We are living in a time when mental health seems to be in serious crisis. Life is scary and uncertain. There's no question about that, but hiding in the dark absolutely does not help. If anything, it makes it worse. One of the first and easiest things a person can do to feel better is sunlight. Go outside without sunglasses on and spend a few minutes soaking it up. If you are stuck inside and have access to windows, open the blinds. Let that gold shine in. Soak it up, breathe it in and feel better.
You are responsible for you. You are the only one who really knows you. So YOU take care of YOU

Movement Specialist

Functional training and movement is the root of great athletic performance or simply feeling good. I have over 18 years of experience working successfully with a very diverse group of athletes. That experience coupled with that of my own training for competition and overcoming serious injury makes me passionate about functional movement! I stay a student of movement and it’s effects on our overall state of well being. Working/training correctly can not only improve one’s game, but improve health, life and the way we live it. Whether you’re a pro mma fighter, developing athlete, average Joe/Jane staying in shape or fighting age to insure independence, I can help you reach those goals.
