On May 15th, 2017, World Medical (Surgical) Robotics Conference is one of the most high-end meeting of the 77th China International Medical Equipment Fair.

China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), launched in 1979, has become the largest fair of medical equipment, related products and services in the Asia-Pacific region. At each fair, almost 4,000 medical device manufacturers from over 24 countries, and about 120,000 people who are government procurement agencies, hospital buyers and dealers from over 100 countries and regions gather in CMEF for trading and exchanges. Now CMEF has become the largest professional procurement and trade platform of the medical industry, the best corporate image release ground as well as a professional information distributing center and an academic, technical exchanging platform.

The Conference worked on the topic of ‘Innovative and develop medical robotics technology’, with the aim to accelerate academic communication regarding medical robotics, and to enhance cooperation between institutions, enterprises and governmental bodies to promote the development of medical robotics worldwide. This Conference had a thorough discussion on surgical robotics, including auxiliary surgical robotics, completely automated surgical robotics and artificial intelligence.

Professionals and experts from Canada,China,Germany,Singapore,Swiss(in the alphabetic order of the first letter) shared their impressive achievements and profound views in academic, technical and clinical fields.
