🎃 PUMPKIN PRESERVATION THIEVES SPRAY 🎃

Anyone else feel like their pumpkins are no bueno almost immediately after putting them out?! Check out these super simple DIY Pumpkin Sprays to hell with the ick and extend the life of your pumpkins.

🎃Thieves EO Spray:
15-20 drops Thieves essential oil
Glass spray bottle - your choice in size
Fill quarter bottle with which hazel
Fill remaining bottle with distilled water
- spray inside and outside of pumpkin -

🎃Thieves Household Cleaner Spray:
16oz glass spray bottle
1-2 capfuls of Thieves Household cleaner
Fill bottle with distilled water
- spray inside and outside of pumpkin -

🎃Thieves Spray:
Already mixed for you! Just spray your pumpkin!

Thieves is a great, natural oil that kills and fights off germs/bacteria growth, which is why there’s a whole Thieves line of products for the home (plus Thieves EO, which we all know and love from our kit)!

As many of you know we have been getting A LOT of rain in CA this winter plus some pretty cold temps. My old guy has been spending more time than usual in his horse blanket so he can stay toasty and keep some meat on his bones but unfortunately I made a booboo and left it on too many days in a row.
One morning I came out to all his blanket and a bunch of hair came off too! He had gotten a yucky case of rain rot on his rump and it was raw, scabby with hair falling out in clumps.
I did a little research and learned that I needed to kill off the bad bacteria and get the spot really dry to kill off all the yuckiness and dry the spot out. After reading about various medications and chemicals I could use someone suggested a solution which contained Witch Hazel and Betadine. I've kept Betadine in the barn for first aid for awhile so I mixed it half and half in a small spray bottle and then added 25 drops each of Thieves and Purification knowing that they would naturally kill off fungus, bacteria and other nonsense.
I picked off all the loose hair, curried him gently and applied this solution twice a day for about 5 days and the area is SO MUCH BETTER. Everything is dried up, most of the scabs have fallen off and its healing! WOW!!
Love finding new uses for my !!

Frankincense.. oh how I love thee.. my SIL recently asked for some skin care advice and I hollered our Frank! In a hurry. She kinda scrunched her nose saying she didn’t like the smell. Many believe that is your body telling you you need that particular oil and I know from experience that you (your body) can learn to love certain oils. Personally I LOVE the way Frankincense smells which makes it a no brainer to roll a little on my face before applying my moisturizer. I just turned 50 and I’ll tell ya, my skin has never LOOKED or FELT better!!

This is totally out of character for me to post on this feed but this picture keeps popping up and it’s pretty meaningful so... This is my baby girl when she was about 3 years old (she’s now 15) and my beloved Mama who I lost 3.5 years ago, unexpectedly, quickly, to cancer. To say I (we) miss her is a huge understatement because she was part of our daily lives. Sometimes I still pick up the phone to call her and then I remember no one will answer. I am super proud of the fact that I made it through the holidays without an emotional breakdown (this hasn’t been the norm) but I do know that it is due in part to time and space but also to the fact that I made conscious effort toward self care the last couple months. What does that look like? Time for me.. to read, create, be quiet, be with friends. Better health.. this past year I have made a big effort to stay on top of drinking my water, taking my daily vitamins and supplements, getting outside in the sun and getting regular sleep. Really utilizing what I have at my fingertips in the form of my essential oils which I so rely on now for healthy emotional support, sleep support, healthy gut, focus, anxiety relief and so much more. 2018 wasn’t the easiest year but I did receive some great gifts in the firm of life lessons and new friendships. They have helped me and my business grow and I hope that will continue in 2019.

So a few months ago I was kind of obsessed with getting all the oils with horses on them because over here. Well Freedom was a special oil created for 2018 International Convention so I thought I was outta luck. Well!! The day after Christmas Young Living has a surprise in store and rereleased it along with a few other hard to get oils! You guys I grabbed 2!! Ladies, what’s in YOUR purse right now? With a kid in FFA my bag can be pretty interesting at times, fir example, today’s cleaning turned up a fair catalog and bidders number, a rabies tag and a pair of scissors ✂️. In addition I found 4 Hershey kisses, 2 of which I immediately ate, a pair of readers (new), a ton of receipts, change, business cards and my “personals” pouch. Shown here are my MUST HAVES.. lip balm (there were actually 3 in my bag plus a lipstick) My Deep Relief roller, Thieves hand sanitizer and a bottle of Stress Away. On any given day there might be more oils depending on where I’m headed. If I lost my keys, I’d be screwed 😳... so let’s see what in your bag !

I just scored this amazing oil as a FREEBIE for ordering on Essential Rewards.. It was a nice surprise and I love its scent and its no wonder.. Oh Christmas tree... I love your scent! I wish my Christmas tree would last all year long but I can fake it with these oils although I just learned that I need to hoard Idaho Blue Spruce because it has been out of stock for some time. BUMMER!
Anyway, Young Living offers other GREAT piney, spruce, evergreen laden oils including pine and Northern Lights Black Spruce ( ) and Balsam Fir and any of them smell GREAT in the diffuser to get that "christmasy" scent in the air...

OH! Gotta fresh cut tree? Here's a little tip.. add a few drops of your fav evergreen oil to the water each time you add water. Every few days or so you should notch the trunk too. The gal I learned this from says it MUCH extended the life of her tree!

Once upon a time when I first started using Young Living oils, I HATED the way Joy smelled, which seems weird when you consider that it is an amazing blend including Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Jasmine, Palmarosa, Rose, Bergamot, Lemon, and Tangerine making it very uplifting and 'joyful' and a good perfume on its own.
Sometimes folks say that the oils that "turn you off" are the ones you need the most so I would dutifully apply it over my heart and then slather a bunch of orange on to mask the smell.
Imagine my surprise when I opened a new bottle the other day to make rollers and wasn't repelled by it. Its not my favorite but its not nearly as off-putting as it was years ago.

I finally set aside some time to refill and make new rollers including these for my daughter. She is a teen with a pretty heavy class course this year and she LOVES purple so when I found these pretty rollers I couldn't resist. The labels were made by Whitney of LostSaguaro on Etsy.
She has brand new rollers for sleep, happy, immunity and focus and has asked to make a diffuser blend that is in a dropper bottle ready to just drop in her diffuser at night. Love that she is getting in on creating her own oily goodness.
