As October draws to a close and we reflect on Mental Health Awareness Month, it is a gentle reminder that wellbeing is not a destination, it is an ever-unfolding journey of growth, understanding and self-care, supported by practices that best help you gently find your way back to yourself, to your true rhythm.

True, wholesome self-care goes beyond moments of pampering or relaxation (although these can be beneficial therapeutic tools); it is about nurturing every layer of your being - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Caring for yourself, day by day, is part of the journey.

Be kind to yourself, always.💚

It takes courage to set aside time for yourself, to step into the unknown, away from what can feel familiar and comfortable, to join a group you may have never met before and open to something new.

We have recently spent 5 reflective days in Bali nourishing and resetting our nervous system, inviting it to remember that feeling of safety and calm.
Daily experiences that gently guided the nervous system to soften, to trust again and return to the natural rhythm within.

Through sound, connection and self awareness something beautiful unfolded - Energy shifted.
We exchanged our stories, shared laughter, indulged in moments of deep rest with the warmth of new friendships forming.

Each ‘Journey in Sound’ holds its own rhythm and personal experience - a gentle transformation that can subtly integrate through the days that follow. Your way of being.

We created a soft opening for what was ready to be seen and to be felt.
Releasing what had simply reached its expiry.

To each beautiful, caring soul who joined this journey, I Thank You for showing up for yourself with your openness, presence and the beautiful energy you brought to this sacred space with pure Grace and Honesty.

Thank you for walking your path with me. 💛

When I play the Gong in a Sound Healing, there is a feeling of connection to its depth, a vibration that can be felt in every corner of the space, moving through and around you like a wave that reaches where words sometimes can’t.
Its rich layers of resonance flowing deeply into the physical, emotional and energetic body.

It’s more than sound- it’s an unfolding, a softening of the body, a quietness of the mind and its chatter, gently shifting what feels still or stagnant.

The resonance continues to weave through, leaving a sense of cleansing and renewal within.
A beautiful Sound Healing instrument that I play to guide the body and energy back into harmony, balance and alignment.🌀

When you know you have arrived… present, connected and home within yourself.

When my breath slows, shoulders soften and both feet steady on the ground, feeling connected to Mother Earth - I know
I have arrived.

There’s a gentle comfort in noticing each breath, each vibration, each rhythm of sound carrying me home to myself.

Being present in this way resets everything for me, mind, body and the way I flow through the day.
My thoughts realign with my being.
With so much gratitude.💚

Each year, the Lion’s Gate portal opens from July 26 to August 12- a subtle yet powerful invitation to connect with clarity, courage and transformation. Transformation doesn’t always announce itself loudly or dramatically sometimes it arrives as a gentle shift, a softening or a new way of seeing and feeling that draws you closer to yourself, slowing down and paying attention.

8 August marks the peak of this energetic window. Known as 8/8, it carries symbolism of infinity, balance and the lion’s heart: courage, strength and the invitation to step forward with clarity and self-leadership.

There is a special kind of softness that comes with taking time for yourself,
like the pause we create each Self-Care Sunday.

Regularly, we gather as a community, not to do but to be.

Yesterday’s gathering in our beautiful Bondi space offered something quietly powerful:
an invitation to return to yourself through sound, stillness and presence.
It’s a whisper back to alignment, a gentle recalibration, softly offered to yourself.

Self-care shapes how we move through the world and the ripple
of tending to ourselves reaches further than we know.

Sharing this offering with the community feels like a quiet gift,
one that I am grateful to give through my practice as a Sound Healing Practitioner.

Thank you for showing up for yourself and for the calm and stillness we shared together. 🙏
