Hello Dear Friends!
I pray that you are all happy, healthy, and well! It has been a very interesting past 2 years and life continues to reveal new layers to move through. As we move into the cooler, more introverted months, and into a time where we must take even more care of our bodies. It is important not only to strengthen the immune system with vitamin C, D, Quercitin, and Zinc (to name a few..) , it is also so important to be supporting the nervous system as well. When our bodies are stressed, it makes it more difficut for our bodies to fight off infection, heal injuries, or other imbalances in the body.
There are many tools one could use to address potential stresses that arise in daily life. It is up to us to tune in and explore what tools work best for us. One of my very favorite ways to de stress and heal from a meriad of things, is to prepare myself an intentional herbal soak. The easiest, most gentle, and powerful way I have learned to relieve layers of stress or imbalance is to soak my feet! Recieving medicine from the central energy centers of the body is a potent and soothing modality to recieve medicine.

Super excited to teach the first herbal yoga class in a special yoga series I’ve created based around mind, body, spirit and Earth... We will be diving into our inner gardens while connecting to different plant ally’s which will not only aid us in moving through our yoga practices in new ways but to connect us to the healing benefits and wisdom each plant teacher brings to our ceremonial mesa ( table ) within the series. In this first class , we will be uniting our practice with Rosemary “The Herb of Remembrance”!🌱 This first series will be offered in Silver City , New Mexico at The Commons gardens as well as at upcoming herbal intensive retreats with Voyage Botanica in the Gila Wilderness and in The White Mountains in Arizona. More offerings will be coming soon.... 🙏🏽🌱🌵 I look forward to sharing space with you in nature soon... If you live in the Silver City , NM area and would like to attend today’s herbal yoga class , it will be from 4pm-5:30pm outside in The Commons gardens! What a beautiful way to start a day of learning herbal medicine! Today I had the honor of teaching a yoga class next to the big spring fed pool at Eden hot springs. The birds were chirping , a cool gentle breeze was dancing and the sun was shining it’s warm , loving glow onto our bodies. After practice we enjoyed a tea of hawthorn leaves and berries , tulsi , motherwort , rose and linden to move throughout our day with a harmonious heart as we tune into the plant kingdom. Now for a day of sharing the wisdom of plants. ❤️🌱🌵🌻

I am SO EXCITED about all these native heirloom seeds that arrived today! I might.... have gone overboard for the garden this year , but.... Naw!!!! 😁I have already began to prep 3 separate garden beds and a greenhouse! Not to mention the flower gardens and plots I have picked out for carpets of wildflowers ! 😁😁😁😁 My tail is wagging! 🐕🐶❤️ Did I mention that as the garden grows throughout the seasons,the plants will go to seed! Which means....... MORE SEEDS!!!! What a beautiful cycle of life, abundance and blessings !

Words cannot describe the excitement and joy I feel to witness the growth of these plant babies! I started them from seeds I collected and enjoyed eating. I have nurtured and cared for these little ones from seed and absolutely love the process of patiently watching them grow. Looking forward to planting the pomegranates in my garden in time and building a greenhouse for the rest of the plant babes I am caring for! ❤️❤️❤️ Next time you are eating your favorite fruits or veggies or while on a walk in nature , consider saving the seeds and starting your own little garden ! You can do this no matter where you live. You can research what your little seeds need to flourish and create the proper environment for them to thrive! :) Enjoy the process and don’t give up! Practice makes perfect in growing not only plants but in life! ❤️🌱🌻Shine on and enjoy the journey !

Very excited to see this baby taro root doing so well! It’s growing fast and strong! The other two I planted aren’t growing as fast but taking their time. Slow and steady they are :) !

I am very much enjoying the process of planting , propagating and witnessing the growth of all the plant babies I am caring for. This care taking journey takes consistency, lots of love and patience. What a rewarding experience it is and one of my favorite meditations. ❤️ If you feel inspired to grow plants in your own home or in your yard I encourage you to take the leap and give it a try! You can grow just about anything no matter where you live, as long as you know what type of environment your little plant babies need. I promise you won’t be disappointed, no matter what the outcome. It’s the journey and the wisdom within it , that is a golden nugget to carry with you within as you continue on your precious path!

Aloha And Namaste Living Lighthouses! Today I would love to introduce you to Red Root! Blackberry Honey Chia Pudding

H**p Milk-

1 Cup H**p Hearts
4 Cups Natural Spring Water
Optional- 3 tsp Organic Vanilla

Add to blender and mix on high 2 mins. Optional- Strain h**p milk with nut bag.
Bottle or serve. Refrigerate.

Chia pudding-

Ingredients: Chia Seeds, Organic Black Berries, Raw Unfiltered Honey

1) Add 1- 1/2 cup chia seeds into small bowl or individual containers with lids. The amount of chia doesn't really matter. I generally eye ball it! The more chia you add the more coagulated ( thicker ) the mixture will become. I also like using a large mason jar.

2) Fill your container with h**p milk. Mix chia well into liquid!

3) Cover. Place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours or over night until the mixture is firm like a pudding.

4) Add blackberries and raw honey to top!

Serve with a smile and enjoy with happy thoughts! :)

Spaghetti Squash Mediterranean -

All Organic Seasonal Veggies-

1 Small/ Medium Spaghetti Squash
1/2 Cup Red Onions Minced
1/3 Cup Minced Greek Olives
3 Carrots Minced
1 Orange Bell Pepper Minced
Fresh Minced Basel to taste
Raw Garlic Minced
Optional- Feta Cheese to top
2 tbs olive oil
Olive Juice to taste.
Sea Salt to taste
Optional Sliced Avocado on side

1) Bake Spaghetti Squash at 350 degrees for 45-1 hr or until soft.

2) Cut open squash long ways and scrape out the seeds with a spoon or fork.

3) Using a fork, scrape out the spaghetti squash "noodles " into a bowl. Set aside.

4) In a large ( non toxic )cast iron or stainless steel skillet, heat coconut oil on medium heat.

5) Add all minced veggies and olives except the garlic. Add salt.

6) Sauté on medium heat for 10-15 mins or until soft.

7) Add basel , olive juice and spaghetti squash to mixture on the stove. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.

8) Remove from heat. Option to Add the Raw minced garlic and stir into mixture thoroughly.

9) Serve immediately. Option to add avocado and feta cheese crumbles now.

Quinoa Fried Rice

Seasonal Veggies: (All Finely Minced ) All Organic- 1-2 large Zucchini , 1 Med Yellow Squash, 1 1/2 Cups Broccoli, 1 Cup Orange Bell Pepper, 1/2 cup Red Onion, 2 Large Carrots

Healthy Fats: 1-2 tbs Coconut Oil

Extras Goodness: 3 cloves Raw Garlic ( Finely Minced) , 2 tbs Raw Ginger ( Finely Minced)
Black Sesame Seeds 2 Tbs

Added Protein- For non Vegans you may choose to add 2 organic , free range eggs from your local farm if possible!

Added Healthy Fat- Avocado chopped or sliced on the side.

And of course...

1-2 Cups Quinoa !!!

Optional- Sea Salt , Pepper to taste.

Tools- 1 Large Bowl , 1 Large Stainless Steel or Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet , 1 wooden spoon, 1 Spatula , Serving Bowls, Chopsticks , and a Smile!

Instructions:

1) Place finely chopped veggies and any other veggies of your choosing into a large bowl. Set aside.

2) Prepare Quinoa as directed. Set Aside.

3) Pour coconut oil into a large skillet and set on the stove on medium high heat.

4) Pour all ingredients into the skillet. Cook on medium heat stirring regularly until vegetables are soft.

5) Add Eggs if you choose here.

6) Cook another 5 Mins stirring regularly on high heat.

( Optional- Add raw garlic and ginger now. Stir into dish.)

7) Serve immediately in bowls. Optional- add avocado on the side.

Charge your food up before you take a big bite with your chopsticks. Think of some things you are greatful for and enjoy with a smile!!!:)

Keep moving forward and shine! You are a Living Lighthouse!

For added Medicinal Value to your meal- Do not cook the Garlic or Ginger, instead add it into your fired rice at the very end after removed from heat.
