I get a lot of people saying gee you’re lucky to go out and get outside and go fishing or hiking or chasing gold while I get to support fantastic people or as I call them My Mates.
This is by no means a coincidence as to why I provide this kind of service.
I’m a firm believer that being in the outdoors and grounding yourself in nature is key to overcoming both physical and mental health challenges.
For those carrying the mental health load in silence a few hours on the water like a conduit it will allow yourself to slow down and process and even talk about your problems or even taking a few hours to not speak and listen to the sounds of nature and allow it to mend your mind and body.
I myself use this exact technique and why I’m such a huge advocate for it myself, putting my boots on and walking the river has a way of prioritising life in a way that just helps you relax.
We have plenty of Doctors and eggshell coloured rooms with tacky art on the walls and lists of medications 💊 that can be prescribed in a instant but very few places where we can slow down and allow ourselves time to breathe.
My Mate Chris will continue to provide the kind of support where the only problem you may have is a few layers of dirt on your shoes and sore cheeks from smiling
