Keisha: Losing over 100lbs Just a girl determined to reach my fitness goals. 89lbs lost through diet and exercise, a newborn baby, and 38 more lbs to go!! I have 38 lbs left to goal.

This page is dedicated to the last bit of my journey and anyone who is looking for motivation to take that first step. My Story: I started out at 277 lbs and lost 100 lbs through diet and exercise. I gained 50lbs during my pregnancy, which was a huge lesson learned. I am almost back at the 100 lb loss mark, however, my ultimate goal is 150. I am so excited to get there and am so thankful that I have my son for added motivation. I'm just like everyone else, I get tired, I struggle, and I'm pressed for time (especially with the baby). I'm not perfect, but I hope giving insight into what it's like to lose over 100lbs will help someone else in their journey :)

This is the calendar I have in my bathroom. I'm using it to track the calories I've burned each day exercising and how many calories I ate. I weighed in at the beginning of the month. I'm breaking up with the scale until the end of the month. I am going to focus on doing the things that make me feel good like exercising and tracking my calories. The scale doesn't make me feel good, so I've decided I'm not using it this month.

I'm having a great week. Workouts are on track, calorie tracking is consistent and I can barely move because I'm so sore. Lol. One day at a time! :)

Today was still a success. My little girl turned 1 today. Day 3 of completing my planned workouts in the morning. I had a crazy day at work. I work...a lot. Typically when I have those days I stress eat. I ended up going 20 calories over my allotment. Controlling my stress and sweets under pressure is a huge milestone. That is why I say today was still a success and I have a beautiful family to be thankful for.

I absolutely love this lady. She is 100% amazing and I'm so glad I can follow her journey.

Spent some time this weekend planning my workouts for the week. It's been a long road after pregnancy but I am working on getting my life balance back. Yesterday was a full body workout and today was circuit training. I'm aiming to keep my calories at 1680 a day. However, I'm human, I'm not perfect and it's a journey not a race. I'm learning to be patient with myself. Happy Tuesday!

Happy Monday Everyone! It has been a long time since I've updated this page. My daughter will be 1 next month and I am just starting to get back on track on my fitness goals. I've gained about 40lbs from the pregnancy and am continuing my weight loss journey. This page recently started having more 'likes' which I took as a sign to begin updating it again. Thanks for being by my side as I continue on my journey! :) I'll be posting current photos this week.

Tackled weights and cardio this morning. One more week and I'll be 4 months pregnant. It's flying by so far!
