STRESS AWARENESS MONTH | HOLIDAY WELLNESS REMINDER
As we move into November and December, the air fills with lights, family gatherings, and celebration—but also, for many, this season brings stress, loneliness, and emotional fatigue. 🌧️💭
While the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s) are meant to be joyful, they can also trigger Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and holiday loneliness—especially when expectations run high, or when we quietly carry emotional weight inside.
Remember: You are not alone, and it’s okay to take a breath.
Here are the Top 5 Things You Can Do If You’re Feeling Stressed or Low:
1️⃣ Pause & Breathe — Step away from the noise. Even 5 minutes of deep breathing or mindfulness can help reset your nervous system.
2️⃣ Connect — Reach out to a friend, family member, or support network. Connection heals. 💬
3️⃣ Move Your Body — Walk, stretch, dance—movement releases endorphins that lift your mood.
4️⃣ Set Boundaries — You don’t have to say yes to every event or request. Protect your peace.
5️⃣ Seek Support — Talk to a mental health professional or explore programs that teach real tools for well-being.
