I'm not recommending that you drink wine. But there are some people on keto who can tolerate a glass of dry (as against sweet) wine without getting kicked out of ketosis. Or who are cycling on and off keto and drink it on their off days.
If you do drink wine, you might seriously want to consider Dry Farm Wines. They:
- are sugar-free
- organic
- have lower sulfites (which are naturally occurring, not just added by some producers. Sulfites give some people headaches, apparently)
- have no chemical preservatives or additives
- and are grown sustainably
The lower alcohol gives you more control over the carbs! And the buzz, of course.
The keto recommendation is usually to drink dry red wine, if you drink it at all, but this stuff is personal. Test what works for you.
(BTW, I receive no commission for this recommendation, I've just been hearing a lot of good stuff from people I trust about this company.)
The only health-focused Natural Wine merchant in the world. All wines meet the purest standards of health and taste - free of chemicals and additives, low in alcohol and sulfites, sugar-free, and friendly to all diets, including Paleo, Low Carb, and Ketogenic.
