My eyes upturned to the sky
My pulse on the breath
My ears receiving the sound of waves
And silence in which they arise
Floating on the blue ocean
Open
“How much can you tolerate to receive?” Says a voice.
I smile wondering why I’m being asked again.
A bit of a rainbow appears.
I watch.
It slowly expands its arc from cloud to water.
Joy fills me and desire too.
I want to capture this scene.
I stand up and look over my shoulder and swim.
A woman on the shore is taking a picture.
I don’t have to say it- she gets it.
A tourist she takes my number and sends me this image.
I’m back floating, enjoying the rainbow.
On the shore someone is getting baptized.
Strains of trust in Jesus fill my ears and heart.
Again “How much can you tolerate to receive?”
The moon is clear about the rainbow.
Now a second arc appears, just a little below the moon.
Like a rainbow colored highlighter underscoring the effulgence of the moon, illuminated by the son that gives her his light.
Something whispers…”be love”
That is what is here to be received.
My heart is full, my eyes wet.
Salty tears meld with salty ocean.
I stand up in the shallow water.
It holds a mirror to the sky
Moon, double rainbow and fluffy clouds mirroring beauty
I swim to the shore. Walk out, turn back in time to catch the rainbow disappear.
Double rainbows, soft clouds, moon
Water reflecting beauty and magic
This and “Be Love” imprinted in my forever
“How much can you tolerate to receive?”
Be love
Do I dare
Is there a choice?
PS: thank you to the angel who shared the question with me.
