Last nights yoga class we practiced lags up the wall.

Legs up the wall (with slight hip elevation) is a simple yet powerful pose that balances both body and mind. 🌿 It supports lymphatic drainage, reduces swelling, and boosts circulation to the face and scalp. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system, it lowers stress, calms the mind, and promotes relaxation. This gentle inversion also eases tension in the lower back and hips, aids digestion, and improves sleep — a low-effort, deeply nourishing reset for the whole body. 💫

We had 10 guys tonight at Mens Yogalaties!

So great to have 2 new guys along too.

We focused on the basics of Pilates breathing and core engagement before warming up and moving on to traditional Pilates mat exercises.

Following with a series of yoga moves and finishing with stretching and relaxation.

So good for posture, spine health, flexibility, mobility and of course mindfulness and body awareness.

Another great week in the life of Vicky’s Yoga and Pilates.

We practiced this beautiful love heart pose at Wednesday nights yoga. We had a good laugh getting in to the pose which we found was great for spine flexibility and core strength as well as a cognitive puzzle as we tried to figure out where our legs should be. 😉🤗

Another busy week teaching yoga and pilates. Tomorrow another 3 classes in total including spin class with Liveargyll ( a lot different from the usual)
Today was my first time teaching spin class, would seem like the most natural thing to do considering the amount of cycling that I do, however, it was a bit daunting for the first time but never mind looking forward to tomorrows class. Onwards we go 💪
Don’t ever let doubt get the better of you, feel the fear and do it anyway!
